About the company Gruppo Aturia

The history of Aturia dates back to 1927. Shortly after its establishment Aturia became a leader in the production of centrifugal pumps and patented submersible motors in 1946. Since the early 1990s, Aturia started to acquire leading Italian companies with more than 100-year history. To date, the group of companies includes: Aturia, Rotos, Marelli, Audolli & Bertolla, Aris Chiappa. Aturia is a manufacturing company and has its own factories in Rovigo, Turin, and Milan.

Certification and product quality

Gruppo Aturia obligations to improve the quality of products have been acknowledged by the Certificate "Quality Systems" of Lloyd's Register Group. A wide range of machine tools with digital control allows achieving the desired accuracy of work pieces. IT systems for information collection and processing, as well as operational management databases provide tracking of product quality at every stage of the production cycle. Pump performance is tested in a production laboratory.

All production processes are taking place in accordance with ISO 9001/2008. Gruppo Aturia manufactures explosion-proof pumps, which comply with ATEX Directive and API 610, as well as FM Approved fire-fighting pumps.

Full cycle: from design to finished product testing

The production cycle begins at the "Technical Department" where technicians collect all the necessary information about the order. Owing to the long-term experience, proprietary database consisting of more than five hundred types of products and the use of 3D-modeling, Gruppo Aturia offers the best solutions to its customers. Today, the company is developing pumps for various liquids with the capacity up to 1500 kW, pressure up to 40 bars, low NPSH, with and without seals and pumped fluid temperature up to +450°C.

To meet the needs of the market and deliver products in a shorter time, Gruppo Aturia ensures constant availability of spare parts in stock. Fast components assembly ensures timely delivery of the pump. At the final stage of the production cycle, the pump can be coloured in accordance with the standards of customer specifications. Carefully constructed package effectively protects the product during transportation.
